Our Sunday School program presently comprises the 1st through 6th grade ages. Our classes meet Sunday mornings from 9:00 am until 9:30 am (during our Orthros service). Sunday School does not meet during the summer months of June, July, and August.

Our new 2008 / 2009 Sunday School year will start meeting on Sunday Septemebr 21. We look forward to having all of our lovely children back together again in Sunday School!

In our current Wednesday evening class we investigating the book The Sacred Gift of Life written by Fr. John Breck. The subtitle of theis book is Orthodox Christianity and bioethics The book provides a very imformative survey of current bioethical topics and then presents a very thoughtful Orthodox Christian perspective to each topic.

We will continue our current Wednesday evening format for this class: We will cover a section of the book with a structured presentation. In addition, each class also has an open format which encoiuurages and receives a wide variety of questions and other input from the participants. this format allows us to drift into other topics related and not so related to the main text.

The Learning Group invites you, adults, to join others in learning about Orthodox Practices and studying of recent saints with Fr. Mark. The current schedule is: Vera P.’s home, 12:30-1:30PM, 1st and 3rd Tuesday, September 16, 2008 to May 19, 2009

We are presently deciding on the 1st book to study!
